The college educated soc-case

That would be me, in a couple of weeks. Of course, I'm looking for jobs constantly (and applying for them as well, hopefully), but so far, I have met with nothing but sheer and utter disappointment.

"You are too young".
"You don't have enough experience, at least three years is required".
"You have a weird nose".

Okay, the last one wasn't too serious maybe (but then again not all things coming from me are). But what I'm trying to say is, HOW in the world am I supposed to get out into the world, share my knowledge of information design and communication processes if I'm not even able to get a job from the very beginning?

Right now, I am cleaning cabins at a local camping (Herrfallet anyone?). Though it is quite hard job (I'm more of a theoretical than a practical person), it isn't mindchallenging and I feel numb and unsatisfied when I come home in the afternoon. I want to do what I was born to do, which is write lots of things for lots of people, in a comprehensible and supereffective way.

Don't worry though, I won't end up cleaning cabins. Oh no, my fate has far grander plans for little me. In a few weeks, the job will be over (not a lot of visitors to the camping in november, right?). Then, I will be forced to become a soc-case. And this is what I'm saying. Why should I, who have spent three years and 150.000 kr in my young and optimistic (before at least) life, have to drag my ass down to soc the same second I graduate from college? It doesn't make sense.

I'm sick and tired of hearing about people getting high salary jobs with nothing but a high school education. Not because I'm jealous (only), but because it makes me think that if I hadn't went on to college and buried myself in books, I too might now have a job and a stable economy.

Paradoxal right? And now, I have to go clean toilets. Ciao.
